How does it work?
Stranding on the unit, the body automatically reacts to the vibrations. During typical resistance training exercises, the body recruits only about 40% of the muscle fibers during each rep of a muscle contraction. With the stimulus of WBV, which is produced by the rapid acceleration/deceleration of the platform, muscles recruit over 95% of the fibers on each rep due to the forced involuntary contraction. The brain does not voluntarily know which part of the muscle spindle to use, so it flexes the entire muscle at once.
