ABOUT ITASCA HEALTH AND CHIROPRACTIC
More than 20 years ago, Dr. Joseph Riggio founded Itasca Health and Chiropractic serving Itasca, Elk Grove Village, Wood Dale, IL, and the surrounding communities. Since opening our doors, we have developed an unparalleled track record for patient satisfaction in chiropractic care. Eventually, after 20 years, Dr. Joel Hanson, Dr. Riggio’s nephew, took over as the primary physician. In 2022, we welcomed Dr. Joseph Muraglia to our practice as an associate doctor.
Dr. Joel and Dr. Joe, as we refer to them, are multi-sport athletes, which led them to develop an interest in the musculoskeletal system and pursue chiropractic careers. They faced firsthand the injuries that come from playing high school and collegiate sports. This combination of experiences led them to develop a passion for freeing people from pain and helping patients improve their overall quality of life.
To treat symptoms, our chiropractors use alternative and chiropractic techniques to identify and target the root cause of your condition. This approach allows us to treat the symptoms you have but also supports a return to optimal health.Our interventions as part of a personalized treatment plan for your better health include:
